International Mills

The International Mills segment is comprised of two mills located in Poland and Croatia .

CMC Zawiercie, S.A. (CMCZ)

Located in Zawiercie, CMCZ is the second largest steel producer in Poland.

Steel Minimills

The facility has two melting furnaces with a combined capacity of 1.7 million tons, continuous casting, a bar mill, and a wire rod mill.

Products

•  Billets for its two rolling mills and for the world market.
•  Merchant products including concrete reinforcing bar, rounds, squares, angles and flats. 
•  Wire rod in drawing and mesh quality.

Customers
Products are shipped mainly to customers in Poland, but also to the surrounding markets through rail services and port facilities within Poland.

Scrap Recycling Operations

Captive scrap recycling operations in Katowice, Herby and Gdansk collect and process up to 25,000 metric tons of scrap a month. CMC operates two shredders in Poland – one in Zawiercie with 8,000 horse power and one in Herby with 2,000 horse power.

Downstream Operations

Rebar fabrication plant in Zawiercie processes up to 4,000 metric tons of rebar per month. Second fabrication shop on Rosslau, Germany is able to process up to 5,000 metric tons of rebar, mesh and piles.

CMC Sisak (CMCS)

Located in Sisak, Croatia, CMCS has an annual capacity of 300,000 metric tons.

• Cold drawn pipes
• Cold rolled pipes
  

Customers

Mills supplies its products on domestic market and exports major part to European countries as well as Middle East and North Africa. Facility is connected to the railway and uses Rijeka port for the shipments by vessels.
